Description:

The Larson Electronics HALD-EMG-24-1X40CPR-LED-V2-3HR Explosion Proof LED Light w/ Emergency Backup provides operators with a powerful and energy efficient lighting solution for clean rooms and pharmaceutical facilities. The 40-watt LED fixture offers up to 4,000 lumens of white light during use. When emergency mode is activated, the LED lamp will remain on for 180 minutes at 20 watts and 2,000 lumens. Operators can mount the ATEX-rated LED lamp in recessed panel mounting configurations.

This explosion proof LED light fixture provides 4,000 lumens of lighting power while drawing only 40 watts. The unit is rated for 100,000+ hours of lamp life, offering compatibility with lay-in troffer mounting configurations. The LED assembly is protected by an aluminum framed, hinged, 3/16″ thick polycarbonate door that provides direct front access to the internal components. The lamp housing is designed for recessed mounting, and is constructed of stainless steel with a powder coated white finish.

The HALD-EMG-24-1X40CPR-LED-V2-3HR is available in a wide range of voltage options from 90-305V AC. It features 24 individual LEDs that offer high-quality light in a 120? beam spread. This explosion proof light is also ATEX rated for European countries. Recommended in a color temp of 5700K, this light is also available in 4000K and 2700K. The cool white of a 5700K color temperature fixture provides clear, bright light for great illumination of any work area.

LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.

LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.

Emergency Backup: The HALD-EMG-24-1X40CPR-LED-V2-3HR contains a remote mounted battery backup unit that adds emergency light functionality to the fixture. In emergency mode, the unit will run at the standard UL suggested 180 minutes after power is lost at 20 watts and 2,000 lumens of output. The light recharges the battery once electrical power is restored. Standard configuration includes a single emergency battery backup that is automatically recharged and kept in a ready state.

Mounting: This explosion proof LED fixture is designed for recessed mounting and requires a mounting hole to be made in booth panels capable of accommodating the fixture housing in order to provide the maximum amount of space in clean room areas. Once mounted, this fixture`s door frame will extend 3/8″ into the clean room. One, 3/4″ NPT hub is available for completing wiring connections.

Applications: ISO 14644 and FS-209E clean room applications that require little to no contamination including but not limited to medical applications, pharmaceutical, laboratories and any other applications that require ample lighting with little to no contamination within the work area atmosphere.
