The EPCS-2XPB.MS-24V-PTM.2K from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Variable Frequency Drive Remote Control Station for Class I, II and III rated work sites. This explosion proof unit features push buttons for activation and a rotary dial for speed control of the connected VFD. Constructed from non-sparking aluminum, this remote control station contains one 3/4″ or 1/2″ NPT hub for completing input/output connections.
The EPCS-2XPB.MS-24V-PTM.2K is designed to facilitate remote control for variable frequency drives in flammable environments. This explosion proof unit contains two, 24V push button switches in a momentary configuration (red/stop, green/start). Operators may also access a rotary dial for speed control, which features 0-10 V input. Speed control is provided by a 2k ohm potentiometer. This explosion proof remote control box requires connection to the start, stop and speed control signals of the VFD.
Constructed of non-sparking aluminum, the NEMA-rated unit is weatherproof. The EPCS-2XPB.MS-24V-PTM.2K offers superior corrosion resistance and is suitable for Class I, II and III rated combustible sites.
Wiring/Mounting: Operators can completing wiring connections and mounting on surfaces, walls, or conduits via a 1/2″ or 3/4″ NPT hub.
