Description:

The Larson Electronics EPDS-15A-3P explosion proof disconnect switch/breaker provides operators with a Class I and II, Division 1 and 2 cast aluminum enclosure that provides overcurrent and short circuit protection for service entrance, feeder or branch circuits, lighting, heating, appliance and motor circuits. This explosion proof disconnect switch and breaker features an EHD frame with a 3-Pole configuration. The EPDS-15A-3P operates on a maximum voltage rating of 480VAC, which allows the use of lower voltages, including 240VAC. This device features two 1-1/4″ cast conduit hubs; one on top and one on the bottom.

The EPDS-15A-3P explosion proof disconnect switch/breaker is made of cast aluminum and features a rectangular bolted cover design for uniform and attractive installations. Cover bolts on this 15-amp rated unit are made from stainless steel. During operation, the external on/off lever can be locked into the “off” position with room for up to three padlocks for superior security. The internal circuit breaker handle mechanism is a sliding plate type mounted to the cover. This circuit breaker is suitable for both indoor and outdoor locations, and is trip-free from the external handle mechanism.
