The EPL-AEP.Z-SS-48.36.16-N4X-L2-EH-M1 from Larson Electronics is a Hazardous Location Purge Panel that provides operators with a reliable way to hold and protect non-hazardous equipment in flammable environments. This purge/pressurize system is ideal for Class I, Division 2 sites. Equipped with a 400-watt fan forced heater, the enclosure features 304 stainless steel construction and compatibility with wall mounting applications.

The EPL-AEP.Z-SS-48.36.16-N4X-L2-EH-M1 offers protection for non-hazardous equipment in Class I, Division 2 rated combustible sites. This purge system is equipped with a 400-watt heater, which operates on 120V AC. The fan forced heater has a 0? to 100?F thermostat range. Featuring continuous welded seams, this unit measures 48″ x 36″ x 16″. The heavy-duty purge system is constructed of 304 stainless steel and contains a 3-point padlocking handle.

A NEMA 4X waterproof rating indicates that the hazardous location device provides a degree of protection against the ingress of dust, dirt and fibers, as well as resistance against the harmful and corrosive effects of water spray, sleet, snow and rain. This level of protection also prevents damage caused by the formation of ice.

The hazardous location unit can be customized with the following components: panel ID (316 stainless steel), tamperproof latches, key latches, copper ground/earth bars, hubs (quantity/location), glands, backplates, terminals and more.

Mounting: The EPL-AEP.Z-SS-48.36.16-N4X-L2-EH-M1 has external mounting feet for wall mounting installations.
