Description:

The EPL-UN-ALU-1.5 is an ATEX/ IEC Ex certified Union, used to connect two pieces of conduit together, or to attach a conduit to a junction box, fitting, or other device. This aluminum coupling permits the removal of equipment without having to turn or remove the conduit. The EPL-UN-ALU-1.5 is rated for use in Class I Divisions 1 & 2 hazardous locations.

This aluminum union consists of either a female to female option or male to female option. The female to female coupling is a 1.5″ hub size with a 2.5″ diameter and 2-7/16″ length. The male to female coupling is also a 1.5″ hub size with a 2.53″ diameter and 3-5/64″ length. These unions feature strong and durable aluminum construction with tapered threads (NOT), and are threaded for rigid conduits or IMC. The hazardous location union is ATEX/IEC Ex certified, and meets UL Standards 886 and 1203, as well as CSA Standard C22.2 No. 30.
