The Larson Electronics EPS-PB10-MS-MOD2 Explosion Proof Momentary Push Button Switch is designed for Class I, II and III rated combustible environments. This 10-amp switch is rated at 600V AC and features normally open contacts. Manufactured using non-sparking materials, the explosion proof unit is suitable for surface mounting installations.
The EPS-PB10-MS-MOD2 is is built to be heavy duty, and is rated for 10 amps at 600V AC. The momentary switch contains normally open contacts and an “ABORT” label located above the button.
The EPS-PB10-MS-MOD2 housing is made out of malleable aluminum body with an aluminum cover, and is epoxy powder coated for a natural finish. This switch is enclosed in a separate sealing chamber, and the sealing chamber has smooth, double flanges that mate both to the cover and the mounting enclosure to provide flame tight joints. The screws consist of stainless steel captive screws and attach the sealing chamber to cover and mounting enclosure.
Wiring: This explosion proof unit is offered in a dead end or feed through configuration. Hub size options include: 1/2″ NPT or 3/4″ NPT. Operators connect to the switch via an internal terminal strip.
Mount: The EPS-PB10-MS-MOD2 is compatible with surface mounting applications. There are two openings at the back of the device for installation.
Applications: Manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, lighting, motor-generator sets, compressors, wet areas or locations where combustible dusts, fibers or flying are present or where explosive gases or vapors may be present.
