Description:

The EPSW-3PH-30-BD-N4X from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Switch with a 30-amp and 20-HP rating. This explosion proof switch is designed for Class I, Divisions 1 & 2 Groups B, C and D; Class II, Divisions 1 & 2 Groups E, F and G; and Class III environments. The NEMA 4X, 7 and 9 rated device can be used in hazardous work locations both indoors and outdoors and can also be used in areas where frequent washdowns, heavy rain or water spray occur.

The EPSW-3PH-30-BD-N4X explosion proof switch features a copper-free aluminum enclosure to protect the internal components from water damage and to make the unit explosion proof and safe to use in hazardous areas. This 480V unit also has stainless steel cover bolts, breather/drain valve and a silicone gasket to seal out moisture. The exterior of the NEMA 4X, 7 and 9 rated switch is finished with electrostatically applied grey powder polyester paint for long-lasting durability.

Hubs: The explosion proof unit is available with multiple hub options, including 1″ and 3/4″ NPT hub sizes. Hub configuration options include feed through or dead end.

Applications: Suitable for use as motor disconnects or industrial control panel disconnects on service entrance equipment, panelboards, switchboards, industrial control equipment and motor control centers.
