Description:

The EXPDCS-3P-600V-800A-3P-M1 from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Circuit Breaker that is used for protecting heavy-duty equipment or machines in combustible facilities. Equipped with a through-the-door padlockable handle, the system features an 800-amp thermal magnetic circuit breaker and is rated for 600V. The explosion proof device has four cast-on mounting feet at the back for surface or wall mounting installations.

This explosion proof circuit breaker is recommended for use in Class I, II or III rated environments. The 3-pole unit is rated at 600V. Operators may access an 800-amp, thermal magnetic circuit breaker inside the system. A spring-loaded circuit breaker handle is available at the front of the enclosure. This through-the-door operating handle is padlockable for security. The enclosure features non-sparking, proprietary 359 aluminum alloy construction with 316L stainless steel cover bolts. This unit carries NEMA Type 4X, 7 and 9 ratings. Grounding provisions are available inside the system.

Hubs: There are four 3 3/8″ hubs on the explosion proof circuit breaker for wiring or power connections. Two hubs are located at the top and two hubs can be found at the bottom.

Mount: This unit is compatible with surface or wall mounting installations. Four cast-on mounting feet are available at the back of the enclosure for mounting. The mounting feet have a minimum bolt size of 3/8″.
