The LEDEMG-400VA from Larson Electronics is a 400V Emergency Lighting Inverter that works in conjunction with LED, fluorescent or incandescent lighting loads to create an emergency lighting system. The LEDEMG-400VA supports a maximum load of 400VA. This unit consists of a sealed lead calcium battery, charger and circuitry contained within a steel case. The LEDEMG-400VA provides power on the input side of connected fixtures including the ballast and can be used in both indoor and outdoor emergency lighting applications.
In the event of a normal power failure, the LEDEMG-400VA instantly begins to provide emergency power to connected fixtures for up to 90 minutes. During those 90 minutes, the unit will provide up to 91% of the lumen rating of the connected fixtures. Once normal power is restored, this emergency lighting inverter will begin to recharge. The battery capacity will be fully restored in 72 hours from the start of the recharge process.
Power: The LEDEMG-400VA has an inpute voltage of 120V AC at 60HZ or 277V AC at 60Hz and an output voltage of 120V AC at 60Hz or 277V AC at 60Hz. The output frequency is synchronized to the connected utility within a +/- 2Hz range during emergencies. This remote emergency inverter has a <1 millisecond transfer time to inverter following a power failure.
Battery: This unit features a maintenance-free sealed lead calcium battery. The 36V battery features automatic low-battery voltage disconnect and reverse polarity protection.
Installation: The LEDEMG-400VA is a remote emergency lighting inverter and can be installed up to 1000 feet away from the fixture. It can be installed with both switched and unswitched fixtures.
