The EXPCMR-WIP-RPS-OZ-2MP-IM.64G-M from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Outdoor Security Camera for flammable work sites, harsh environments, and outdoor locations. This IP66-rated device is rechargeable and offers wireless video output and connection to other devices. Capable of producing clear, 1080p HD images, the unit supports trunnion bracket mounting or flat surface mounting if the bracket is removed. 64 GB internal solid state memory allows camera to record up to 8 hours of footage in 2MP 1600×1200 at 30 frames per second. The EXPCMR-WIP-RPS-OZ-2MP-IM.64G-M operates on 2.4 GHz wifi.

Camera Features: The EXPCMR-WIP-RPS-OZ-2MP-IM.64G-M security camera provides operators in hazardous areas with crisp 1080p HD images as well as streaming via RTSP. Equipped with a 2 MP lens, up to 6x digital zoom is possible with the fixed-focus device. A cutting-edge chipset facilitates image compression and video processing with superior quality. Operating at 5 watts, the explosion proof monitoring device is rechargeable, with up to 8 hours of runtime per full charge. The charger is internal and can be charged within hazardous locations via the included explosion proof cord cap. Video output and connection to other devices is wireless (no cords). An example of such device is our Class I, Division 1 explosion proof tablet (EXP-TBLT-10I-W10-128G-4G), which operators can use to view images transmitted wirelessly from the explosion proof security camera. 64 GB of internal solid state memory allows this camera to record up to 8 hours of footage in 2MP 1600×1200 at 30 frames per second. Lower resolutions will allow for longer recording times. The 64 GB SD card can be removed outside of hazardous locations in order to access footage. Do NOT remove the SD card inside of any hazardous location.

Durability: The EXPCMR-WIP-RPS-OZ-2MP-IM.64G-M is rated NEMA Type 3, 4, 4X, 7 (B,C,D) and 9 (E,F,G) and designed to withstand the rigors of demanding environmental and operating conditions while remaining lightweight and easy to use. The housings are formed from extruded aluminum and the lenses are unbreakable polycarbonate.

Security & Remote Access: The EXPCMR-WIP-RPS-OZ-2MP-IM.64G-M supports several forms of security. The supported forms include WEP Encryption, WPA Encryption, and WPA2 Encryption. This explosion proof outdoor security camera also features remote access capability. It supports both P2P and DDNS remote access.

Wi-Fi: The EXPCMR-WIP-RPS-OZ-2MP-IM.64G-M operates on 2.4 GHz wifi and is Wi-Fi compliant with wireless standards IEEE 802.11 b/g/n. It is NOT compatible with 5 GHz wifi. On IEEE802.11b, this camera transfers data at a maximum rate of 15Mbps. On IEEE802.11g, the max data transfer rate is 54Mbps. The max data transfer rate on IEEE802.11n is 150Mbps.

Wireless Network: The explosion proof camera allows operators to create their own 2.4 GHz wireless network. This feature makes networks for cameras easier to setup in outdoor sites. A QR code on the unit can be scanned for seamless wireless network configuration. The network faciliates the connection of various devices. During use, footage is stored via internal memory.

Battery/Charging: This unit is powered by a rechargeable 8.8aH lithium ion battery. At a full charge, the explosion proof device provides a runtime of 8 hours. This unit`s charger is internal and can be charged within hazardous locations using the included explosion proof cord cap.

Cord Cap Options: Plug options include a 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for use with 120 V explosion proof outlets, a 5-20 20 amp straight blade plug for use with 120 V explosion proof outlets, or a 6-20 20 amp straight blade plug for use with 220-240 V explosion proof outlets. **PLEASE NOTE** voltage ratings on plugs and outlets are MAXIMUM voltage. For low voltage applications, proper voltage must be applied to the outlet or damage to the light fixture will occur.

Mounting: The EXPCMR-WIP-RPS-OZ-2MP-IM.64G-M can be mounted on flat surfaces using the adjustable trunnion mounting bracket. The bracket can also be removed in order to mount the camera directly to a flat surface.
