A beautiful, low profile, stainless steel bollard for mounting Delta Controls EV Charging station AC Mini. Its low profile depth (4″) plus its tapered top and rounded corners give it a modern shape, and its internal base plate insures not only strong a nchorage but hidden mounting fasteners to complete its modern design that pleases both the architect and customer alike. This pedestal comes with a hole patterns and mounting configuration that matches the AC Mini device. (If a different Delta Controls device is required then please contact one of our Sales Engineers for a modification.) Custom powdercoating is available upon request. On this unit the rounded corners are mirror-polished and each flat surface is polished with a 180 grit #4 finish. Th ere is an access panel on the backside. Whereas a competing bollard that uses a lightweight 2-piece anchor-bollard design will begin to wobble shortly after the initial installation, this heavy duty stainless steel tower will hold steady regardless of the use and abuse because of its one-piece design (post and base are welded together) and its .25″ thick base plate that gets secured to the floor. See its “Installation Instructions.” Furthermore, this stanchion has passed our facewind testing protoco l which determined it can survive sustained Category 5 hurricane force winds of 157 mph. (We even tested it up to 600 mph and it only flexed 2mm.) Stainless steel pedestals are sought mainly for rust protection and beauty and this pedestal delivers wit hout an exorbitant cost.
