The Tripp-Lite SMART1200LCD is a 1200VA UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) system from the SmartPro series. It is designed for rack, shelf, or tower mounting, providing reliable battery backup and surge protection for critical electronic devices in home and office environments.

The SMART1200LCD can deliver backup power to connected equipment during power outages, allowing you to save your work and safely shut down devices. It features a pure sine wave output, which provides clean and stable power to sensitive equipment, including servers, networking devices, and audio/video equipment.

The UPS system offers a total of 8 outlets, including 6 battery backup outlets and 2 surge-only outlets. The battery backup outlets provide continuous power during outages, while the surge-only outlets protect connected devices against power surges and spikes. The outlets are widely spaced to accommodate bulky transformers without blocking adjacent outlets.

Equipped with a multifunction LCD display, the SMART1200LCD provides real-time information about power conditions, battery status, load capacity, and other essential parameters. The display is user-friendly and allows you to easily monitor the UPS status at a glance. It also includes audible alarms for power events, such as low battery, overload, and fault conditions.

The SmartPro series features line-interactive technology, which automatically adjusts and regulates voltage levels to provide clean and stable power to connected devices. This helps protect sensitive equipment from power surges, voltage fluctuations, and other electrical anomalies. The UPS also includes automatic voltage regulation (AVR) to correct minor fluctuations in voltage without relying on battery power.

For enhanced power management and monitoring, the SMART1200LCD includes USB and serial ports for connecting it to a computer or server. This allows you to use Tripp-Lite’s PowerAlert software to remotely monitor the UPS status, customize settings, schedule automatic shutdowns, and receive notifications of power events. It also supports SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) for integration into network management systems.

The SMART1200LCD include data line surge protection for safeguarding connected equipment, hot-swappable user-replaceable batteries, and a built-in emergency power-off (EPO) interface for immediate shutdown in case of emergencies.

The UPS system is ENERGY STAR certified, ensuring efficient operation and reduced energy consumption.
